  Hubert moved into live recording, mixing, mastering, and also setting up consultancy services in a professional acoustics and recording studio setup. Hubert has been in the audio industry since the inception of hiplife in Ghana in the 1990s. With deep passion for music production and perfecting audio recordings, his work has traveled far through mixing and mastering of hit songs for popular artists and Producers in the last two decades.

   His in-depth knowledge, practical experience, and technical judgement on music has made him a monarch in his chosen field. He has worked with Hush Hush Studios and many media houses, including Metro TV (GH) and The African Channel (USA), to produce documentaries across Africa. Hubert got the opportunity to work in a new pro tools studio, most probably the first of its kind in the capital, courtesy, the CEO of Virtual Sound Lab, Nana Opoku. He was also mentored by Mr. Kwakye of the defunct Ghana Film Studios and Swiss-trained Sarge. 

  Hubert shifted from a Pro DJ to a producer and audio engineer. Learned from David Moulton (audio engineering author and educator, (US) also his playback series books, online audio engineering courses with audiomasterclass.com, mixcoach.com, pro member of puremix.net, and other great audio engineering books and websites. He is acquainted with the use of both Analog equipment and Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) such as Pro Tools, Cubase Pro, Logic Pro, Studio One, Harrison Mixbus, Reason, WaveLab Pro, and FL Studios. He is referred to as “Pro tools expert” as it has been his primary DAW since 1998 till date and running Avid HDX / C24 rig at UVSL studios.
